Pieter Swart

Learners visit this venue once a week where they work with paper, material, wood and wire. The handwork skills as well as the eye-hand co-ordination of our learners is drastically improving. The following activities have been tackled:

The design of a puppet where certain movements were executed by means of a lever.
Woodwork which included the making of photo frames, multipurpose boxes, serviette holders and lamps. The electrical wiring of the lamps were also done by the learners.
Processing skills - Pizzas were made. Processing techniques and waste control was also part of this module.
Different types of weaving and knitting
Wire work
The annual display of these articles at our Prize giving is not to be missed
 

TEGNOLOGIE / TECHNOLOGY:

The learners are busy to make their items, an application of a problem solving execrcise put to them in their various modules. The making of  these items are only done after research; the technological process and design of the item are completed.
