The Recycling projects aim to create an awareness amongst our learners of the great role which recycling plays world wide in conserving our natural resources. Besides the educational value, it also serves as refuse removal and it is supported by the municipality. Seventeen Pine trees are saved for every ton of paper which is recycled. The low production costs of the recycling process provides cheaper paper to the consumer, restricts the amount of dumping sites and it also serves to lessen pollution by means of paper.

TYPES OF PAPER
Newspapers, magazines, white telephone directories, breakfast cereal cartons and office paper is placed in the paper bank in order to keep it dry. Cardboard boxes, fax paper and yellow telephone directories cannot be used for recycling. Funds generated this year will be used to purchase audiovisual equipment e.g. television sets, CD players, video machines etc.
