Ruley van Tonder
is the founder of the Ruley School of Dance. She is a qualified ballet and
modern dance instructress (U.C.T.) as well as a professional dancer and founder
member of "Jazzart".
The following two
dancing styles are presented.
Modern Dancing: The dancing style is based on classical ballet with the
focus on technique. Modern dancing forms a good basis for other dancing styles
L.A. Funk: This popular dancing style is danced to the beat of music with
a very strong rhythm. Grade 1 learners are only accepted for modern dancing. All
dancing learners do a dancing exam by Danecor at the end of every year. A
concert where all dancers participate is held every second year.
