Dear Parent

ASCENSION/PENTECOST

This year Ascension Day will be on 1 May (Workers’ Day), which is a public holiday.  Our school has decided to celebrate this Christian festival by commencing with a special children’s service on Monday 5 May.  Pentecost services will be held from 5 to 9 May.  Our JOT teachers will lead these services, in both English and Afrikaans.

We would like to give our parents the opportunity to attend Pentecost services in their own churches.  The choir practice time has therefore been adjusted and will be from 17:30 -18:45.

The other primary and high schools in our area are all celebrating Pentecost, each in their own unique manner.

We wish you and your family a blessed 2008 Pentecost.
