Dear Parents

DURBIE ACTION 2008 : WINE AUCTION

On Thursday 12 June 2008 the Durbie Action 2008 fundraising committee will be presenting their eight wine auction in the school hall, in aid of Durbanville Primary School.  We regard this as a very  special  occasion  considering  the  tremendous  success  of  the  last  seven  functions.   R175 000,00 nett profit was made during the 2007 auction.  The highlights of the 2008 wine auction are as follows:

Special wine mementoes, wine for the collector, wine for the everyday user and special sports mementoes are auctioned.

Only 200 guests – reservations are important.

Wine and whiskey tasting of various regions : 18:30-19:30

A lovely set meal with free wines on the table.

A cash bar is available.

The auctioneer for the evening will be the well known Mr Deon Klopper, specially flown in from Bloemfontein.

We kindly request our parents to support us in any manner possible, as indicated on the reply slip.  We will contact you as soon as possible.  Companies that reserve a table will receive advertising space on the table.  Cellars donating wine will receive advertising space on the electronic catalogue during the wine auction.  These companies and cellars will be linked to our school’s website for a period of one calendar year.  We  invite  you  to  reserve  a  table  for  10  @  R1 600,00 or individual bookings @ R175,00 per person, may also be made.  Only tables for which payment has been received, will be reserved.  Please complete the reply slip and we will contact you soon.

The proceeds of the wine auction will be used to benefit the learners of Durbanville Primary School.  We sincerely appreciate your support.  Please return the reply slips to Pieter Swart.  For detail, contact:
