CHOIR

Practices: Tuesday 14:15 to 15:45 and Thursdays 17:30 to 19:00

The choir consists of approximately 90 members. At the beginning of the year interested learners are invited for an audition. Besides the weekly practices, choir camps are held throughout the year. Particulars will appear in the annual program for 2002. In 2000 the following was achieved:

A+ at Stellenbosch Arts Competition
90% at Tygerberg International Eisteddfod finals
Placed second at Tygerberg International Eisteddfod Gala Concert
Gold Diploma at ATKV Regional Festival
Overall winners at the Gala Concert of the ATKV Regional Festival. Received a Cum Laude Award.

Every year in November the choir records a CD and it is available from Anne-Marie Dippenaar.
